Across the Canterbury district we have over 40 clubs and schools who are involved with Junior and Youth cricket, primarily on a Saturday morning. All club competitions are led by our District Associations:

Canterbury Country Cricket Association
Metropolitan Cricket (CHCH Youth)

Mid Canterbury Cricket
South Canterbury Cricket
Buller/West Coast

Junior Cricket
The structure of Junior cricket largely stays the same with guidance from New Zealand Cricket's age and stage framework. More details on grades and rules can be found on the above districts websites.

Youth Cricket
Male Youth Cricket is predominately run within the secondary school system in Canterbury, with a few club exceptions entering teams. Female Youth Cricket on the other hand is run within clubs.
